Terms of use

Scope

These terms cover this website. The product application has its own terms, which you'll see before you create an account.

What Elion is

Elion Transport LLC operates software that connects shippers with carriers directly. Shippers post loads; carriers negotiate their own rate against those posts; the rate is agreed between those two parties.

What Elion is not

We are not a freight broker. We do not hold broker authority, do not arrange transportation for compensation, do not take possession of freight, and do not earn a margin on the difference between what a shipper pays and what a carrier is paid.

We are also not a dispatch service, a carrier, a lawyer, or an accountant. Nothing on this site or in the product is legal, financial, tax, or dispatch advice. You decide what to post, what to book, and what to charge.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist costs nothing, requires no card, and doesn't enroll you in anything. It is not a contract, and it does not guarantee access, a price, or a launch date. You can leave at any time.

Pre-launch software

We're early and we say so plainly rather than implying a network that isn't built yet. Features described here may change or may not ship. If something on this site looks wrong, tell us — we'd rather hear it than have you rely on it.

Accuracy of what you tell us

If you give us a USDOT number, it should be yours. We verify against public FMCSA records, and signing up on behalf of a company you don't represent isn't something we'll knowingly carry forward.
