ELION TRANSPORT · WEBSITE PRIVACY

Privacy

This page covers this website only — the public site at eliontransport.org. The product application has its own privacy terms, which you'll see before you create an account.

Scope

This page covers the public website at eliontransport.org. The product application is separate and has its own privacy terms, shown before you create an account.

Information we collect

What you type into the waitlist form. For carriers: email address, company name, and USDOT number, plus contact name, number of trucks, and equipment type when you provide them. For shippers: email address and company name, plus contact name, city or metro, what you ship, and rough volume when you provide them. There are no accounts on this site, no file uploads, and no payment details.

If you arrived through an Elion campaign link, first-party campaign labels in that landing-page URL (source, medium, campaign, and content) may be stored with your signup so we can tell which Elion campaign or creative produced it. Those labels are read from the URL on this site only — we do not install third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts, and this site sets no tracking cookies.

The contact form does not send anything to us directly — it opens your own email application with the message ready to send. Nothing you type there is stored by this site.

Collected automatically

Like any website, this one is served by a hosting provider that processes technical request information — IP address, browser user agent and timestamps — in order to deliver pages and keep the service running. We do not use that data to build a profile of you.

This site runs no analytics, no advertising tags and no third-party tracking scripts, and sets no cookies of its own. Fonts and images are served from this site rather than fetched from another company.

How we use it

To email you when there's something real to show you, and to make sure you don't receive cold outreach from us after you've already raised your hand — a waitlist signup suppresses your address across everything we send.

We ask carriers for a USDOT number because it's a public FMCSA record and it lets us confirm we're talking to a real carrier. We don't use it for anything else.

Service providers and disclosure

Waitlist signups go into our own database, which we operate, by way of our own outreach system. Our hosting provider and our email provider necessarily handle data in order to run the site and deliver mail.

We don't sell your information, rent it, or share it with data brokers or advertisers. We don't buy contact lists either — if we email you, it's because you gave us the address or we found it published by your company.

Retention and security

We have not set a fixed retention period. We'd rather say that plainly than publish a number we don't enforce. If you ask us to delete your record, we delete it — see Your choices below.

Access to the waitlist data is limited to the two people who run Elion, and the systems holding it require authentication. We're a small company, not a security-certified enterprise, and we're not going to claim otherwise.

Your choices

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, and replying to ask works just as well. If you want your record deleted rather than just suppressed, email [email protected] and we'll do it.

Changes

This page will change as the product does. When it changes in a way that affects what we do with your information, we'll say so rather than quietly editing the page.
